We have upcycled over
42 MILLION
plastic bottles—and counting!
From Bottle to Better
COLLECT
We start with post-consumer plastic bottles collected from all over the world
CHOP
The bottles are sent to our factories where they are washed and chopped into flakes
MELT
The flakes are then melted down and turned into beads
SPIN
Next, heat is applied to the beads and they are spun into yarn
FINISHED GARMENT
Finally, the yarn is woven into fabric then sewn into a garment
1% for the Planet
PROUD MEMBER OF 1% FOR THE PLANET
Since 2019, Storm Creek has pledged 1% of sales to the preservation and restoration of the natural environment. We’ve awarded over $67,000 in cash and in-kind donations to domestic and international environmental groups making a difference in their local communities.
Carbon Offset
REDUCED CARBON EMISSIONS, INCREASED QUALITY
Using recycled bottles in our garments means 79% fewer carbon emissions during manufacturing. In addition, we’ve partnered with UPS to reduce carbon pollution during shipping. Since 2022 we have mitigated over 110.1 metric tons of CO2e from the atmosphere. That’s equivalent to over 20 homes’ electricity use for one year.
The UPS carbon neutral and Carbon Offset program have been verified by Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS).
Sourcing Practices + Certified Partners
PUTTING PEOPLE AND THE PLANET FIRST
In our quest to create high-quality products that last, we seek out factories, mills and partners that measure up to our standards in environmental and staffing safety practices.
No Restricted Chemicals
COMMITTED TO CHEMICAL SAFETY
We adhere to transparency regarding chemicals used in producing and packaging our apparel. We avoid any product that could be deemed harmful or considered a health concern, ensuring garments are non-toxic and safe.
